Higher Throughput with a Minimal Footprint
In pharmaceutical production, available cleanroom space is often limited. The compact robotic cell palletizes up to 10 tubs per minute within a footprint of just 1,500 × 1,300 mm. Depending on the nest configuration, this corresponds to a throughput of up to 1,600 primary packaging units per minute. This enables high production output while minimizing the required floor space.
Gentle Handling of Sensitive Primary Packaging
Pre-filled syringes, vials, and cartridges made of glass or plastic require exceptionally careful handling. The precise interaction between the MELFA FR robots and Robotronic SoftTouch technology ensures controlled picking, movement, and placement of the tubs. Mechanical stress is minimized, and the tubs are positioned on the pallet with a high degree of repeatability and accuracy.
Integrated Automation from a Single Source
Robotics, control systems, drive technology, and the operator interface are seamlessly integrated within a single automation platform. This simplifies system integration and enables coordinated motion control, transparent diagnostics, and efficient maintenance.
